The Answer Is Blowing In The Wind

So, the weather has been FANTASTIC this week, with highs in the 80s! I definitely feel summer creeping up on us. I took advantage of the sunshine and took some pictures outside. (some of the pictures are on their side, my apologies).
The tee I have on in the pictures is from To Write Love On Her Arms. If you haven't already heard of this non profit organization, I highly encourage you to check it out! TWLOHA has inspired me so much. They help dozens of teenagers get through the hard parts of life, and remind me that everyone has a story to tell.

Hipster Status

Blah! My life has been incredibly busy these past few days. But here's a quick update for y'alls.
Music: I've been listening to alot of Mumford and Sons and The Avett Brothers this week. Total hipster music, right? ;)
Fashion: I've been catching up on spring trends and I promise I'll do a style post soon.
Photography: I've been editing pictures when I can. Like the ones I took?

Currently Obsessed With...

So, I thought it'd be cool to show y'all what bands I'm currently obsessed with. Now my music taste is kind of, sort of REALLY all over the place.
First up is the indie/acoustic band He Is We. They are by far one of my favorites. Their songs are so cute, and the lead singer- Rachel- is tres talented.
Second is Coldplay. Their songs Viva La Vida and Fix You are pretty well know, but their other underrated songs are great also.
Foster The People! They weren't too well known until Pumped Up Kicks came out. I love their sound- it's so unique.
City and Colour is another acoustic band I love. Check them out- you won't be dissapointed!
Last but not least is One Republic. I have their song Good Life in my head all the time now :P

This Has Gotta Be The Good Life

So, the artist I've been obsessed with lately is One Republic.
I LOVE their music.  It makes me happy for some weird reason, and reminds me of spring. (Don't ask me why)
Anyway, the weather here is almost in the 70's!! Which is almost unheard of for February 29th.

Anyways, I was listening to "Good Life" by OR, and it made me feel nostalgic about summer and the beach and such :(

I can't wait for summer to get here. Eep!

A Little Bit Of Photography

Hey guys!

I know it's been almost two months since I've posted... :( How have y'all been? I hope y'all have been doing good!

I've just been SO busy with dance, music and school. (Story of my life, I guess...) I ended up not doing ballet this semester, just jazz and hip hop. My schedule has become way less hectic since then, but I really miss it. I was going to learn pointe! :(
But! In the music world, things have been going pretty well. I performed at a big College recital this past weekend and I received an "Excellent" rating. Yay!
School wise, exams are over and I passed with flying colors.

Anyways, the weather has been AMAZING recently. The sun has been shining, the cold has been absent. Thank goodness! I think spring is on its way!

Since I haven't posted in forever and a decade, I guess y'all deserve some photos! I'm obsessed with editing pictures and giving them a vintage feel.
Oh! And I got this super cute print dress. Don't you love it?

Happy new Year!

It's a new year! Can you believe it? I know I can't. I'm so excited to see what the new year brings! What are your new year's resolutions? Mine are:

1. To dance on pointe! I'm sooooo excited to learn!
2. redesign my bedroom.
3. do more things with my music
4. make 2012 unforgettable!

ps, don't you just love this bomber jacket? It's my all time favorite for winter
